Michelin Primacy Alpin PA3 is a performance winter/snow tyre that is ideal for all kinds of wet and wintry roads. Ideal for a variety of vehicles like sporty coupes, SUVs, crossovers and sedans, Michelin Primacy Alpin PA3 delivers powerful performance even in the toughest of conditions.
Michelin Primacy Alpin PA3 is better than its predecessors at many levels. Featuring Michelin's revolutionary Helio Compound with sunflower oil, the tyre delivers incredible traction and astounding braking and handling at low temperatures. The tread is directional in pattern with independent shoulder and intermediate tread blocks. These blocks are combined with a continuous centre rib flanked by two deep grooves and innumerable auto-blocking sipes to provide optimal traction in wet weather. The tyre promises 10% better acceleration than its predecessors thanks to Michelin's 3-D StabiliGrip™ technology. The bidirectional, auto-blocking sipes of variable geometry offer more biting edges and self-cleaning properties on snow. While the sipes provide better rolling on snow, the Helio compound improves braking distances, making the tyre stop at 5.6 feet shorter than Alpin's fomer PA tyres on wet roads. Like most Alpin tyres, the Primacy Alpin PA3 meets Michelin's Green X standard for low rolling resistance and hence, provide optimum fuel efficiency and reduced emissions of CO2 gases. The tyre's internal structure is that of a polyester cord body under twin steel belts (reinforced by Michelin's BAZ technology) where polyamide cord is spirally banded at zero degrees to offer utmost capability and ride comfort. On the whole, this Michelin delivers improved wet braking, dry road stability and exceptional snow traction. Indeed, an ideal tyre for both dry and winter driving.
