Pirelli P6000 is a high performance summer tyre made in the best of Pirelli tradition or what is called the 'law of the 6' league. Like its predecessors, P6 and P600, the Pirelli P6000 is an exceptional performer that meets the demands of the latest in the car industry.
Pirelli P6000 is new to look at. The amazing new wave technology used by Pirelli shows off in the tyre's performance. The tread pattern is wave-like with a deep centre groove running longitudinally, flanked by stable, wavy tread blocks that run from the centre to the shoulder. The tread blocks are separated by elliptical water clearing channels across the tread area. This unique tread design was born in CAD/CAM experiments of Pirelli and combines wet weather traction with on-road stability. Water is wicked off quickly from the tread surface, thanks to the extraordinary water draining grooves. The tyre generates very low noise due to the wave-like pattern of the tread. Pirelli P6000 delivers high wet grip and low rolling resistance owing to its latest generation of silica compound, which mixes silica with synthetic polymers. The carcass of the tyre is less in weight in order to enhance performance and optimize handling, in keeping with the new tread pattern.
