Pirelli Winter 210 Sottozero S2 works best when mounted on cars run all year round, from the November to April season, especially in conditions perfect for the United States.

    Pirelli Winter 210 Sottozero S2 features a tread compound that is free of aromatic oils and hence ecological-friendly. The bold tread contains 3 deep grooves for water dispersion while the Brickwork Siping technology ensures wet and snow grip. The brickwork pattern like sipes improve winter performance by increasing lateral and longitudinal traction on snow and ice. As seasonal tyres, Pirelli Winter 210 Sottozero S2 has everything in it to meet the rigors of American winter and hence, optimizes the compound to provide improved traction and more biting edges on snow. On the inside, the tyre is made of twin steels reinforced spirally wrapped polymide for stability and sensitivity to temperature changes.

      Superb on everything except deep snow, and on medium snow, only acceleration is very good (braking is just better than average). Work well when driven hard, and as much fun as summer performance tires, whether its -20C or +20C. They dry out after 3 seasons though. Not too noisy, moderately firm sidewalls, but bucketloads of fun. Buying another set.
