• R means that the tire has a radial construction.
• 16 is the diameter of the wheel rim, expressed in inches.
• 91 is the load index. In this example, it corresponds to a maximum load of 615 kg per tire.
• V is the speed rating. In this example, it indicates a maximum approved speed of 240 km/h.
