    Continental Cross Contact LX is a special tire for medium to heavy 4x4 vehicles. To handle the vehicles the tire is designed with open shoulders. The braking power of the tire is increased of its special tread pattern. Towards the opening of the tire, four deep and broad circumferential grooves open up to provide good resistance to aquaplaning. This unique tread pattern also prevents tire damage caused by the stones, the hard-hitting terrain and also increases aquaplaning resistance. To ensure precise response to the steering, the rib characteristics and the angled sipes come into action. The Three circumferential block rows in offset arrangement ensure high performance and see that the tire rolls smoothly without much noise.
