The tire has passed the RMA testing standards and has snowflake marking on it. The tire designed of unique cold weather compound offers extra mileage. The tread pattern of VancoWinter 2 is unique as it expands on applying brakes. The sipes across create an ice scrapping effect to reduce the breaking distance. For protection against aquaplaning, the lateral grooves drain and channel the water under the tire. The optimum tire footprint of VancoWinter 2 offers 30% increased winter mileage. Being a new release, the tire has proved itself by receiving the approval of the most demanding manufacturer : Mercedes.
